Goto Underwaters website... They should have the the specs on the site... If not just call. Real nice guys .The lights are 24v.

I found the HID's Brighter and threw a further stream of light vs the LEDS . ( but remember they have all different wattages ) So the LEds could be comparable on some scale.

Hmmmm maybe a couple in the BOW so I can see the bottom when I'm cruising the flats at night??

Re the surface mount on the transom; I wonder if you could STICK 'em on with a big gob of 5200?
 
While out at Montauk some years ago it seemed like all the sporty's had them. Striped bass was all over the surface hammering the bait fish that collected in the lights. Definitely a good show. We could easily see a few feet into the water.
 
I guess with that small of boat, I'd try to do something too, GO FOR IT.
 
What kind of comment is that Jim, "with that small of boat, I'd try to do something too?" It's not about the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean! There are a whole lot of people with small boats who get much more out of them than people with so called "big boats."

Any more pics with LED's? Would like to dee what the really look like instead of an ad from the maker.
