Mechanic was here and found REALLY fouled plugs. Said there was too much oil in the gas but I can't figure out how as I always add the pint bottle to the 6 gallon can. So he added some plain gas, changed the plugs, told me to run down the current tank and then start again. Also ended up replacing the rectifier which was shot and so the battery wasn't being charged. While he worked on stuff I ran around trying to find the rectifier which I finally was able to pick up in Freeport. Also picked up some extra plugs to keep onboard just in case. So.........looks like we're a little poorer but back in the water!

Have a good time!

Barb...... Glad to hear it was something simple..........have a great day on the water.

Ah, don't be sorry. It is a nice paycheck. But then again, this is turning out to be one fine holiday weekend. I have some time off in September, which is my favorite month to boat. I am glad you were able to get your boat fixed in time. It would have been a shame to miss this weather.
