Setting around thinking about taking some time off (1 week). Was thinking about going Salmon fishing when it opens in the rivers in Sept. I'm thinking about trailering the boat to the bay,and have someone drive the truck and trailer back, and fishing my way back to Stockton. Never fished the bay, does anyone have any ideas what to fish for in the bay. Regs say Salmon fishing starts at the Carquinez bridge. So I may fish the bay for a while.
Planning doing a few days trolling around Rio Vista, I caught a 34 lber in front of Vierras yrs ago before they closed down Salmon fishing.
I'm open for suggestions on fishing the bay and anything else I should do while working my way back.
