I have that problem of my Vacu Flush cycling every few minutes. The water level in the bowl does no go down, so I'm going to replace the duck bill valves next.

Is there any specific process or sequence that needs to be followed? Should any lubricant or sealant be used when replacing the duck bill valves?

Thanks for any assistance!!

pretty straightforward... i usually put a little liquid soap on the flange so that it doens't pinch and deform. make sure the fittings are clean. dont' overtighten either as this will deform the DB

Another step you may want to take if you have the room is to install a pvc ball valve from any one of the home stores. It serves two purposes... 1. Next time your duckbill valves leak and water starts backing up in the bowl, you can flush it down to empty the bowl, close the valve, and not have to worry about the bowl overflowing on the ride home. 2. You can now close the valve and easily change the duckbills in the future without the worry of effluent going over the head floor.

With a VF you have 4 DBs so no chance if stuff backing up into the bowl

Valves are nice so that stuff in the hose doesn't spill out when open if the pump is installed low
