Due to all no discharge rules, I will be pulling out my lectrasan & going with a holding tank. What a major pain. Had to do a lot of sawsall work. I will be installing a Sealand T12 diaphragm pump. It will be about 2' above the waterline. The bottom of the tank standpipe is definitely below the waterline. Do I have to use a vented loop?
Also, what control do I have to order to operate my Crown head?
Al
P.S. Anyone want to buy an Lectrasan installed in 2002 & factory refurbished & updated last season?

A vented loop needs to be installed between the output of the T series pump and the through-hull fitting. This will protect the boat from sinking, should a hose pop off, a fitting break, etc., andwhere inside where the vented loop is located. The top of the loop should be above the waterline at any angle of heel.

Doesn't the Crown Head have a pushbutton switch to operate it? Or did you have one of those setups where starting the Lectra/San also flushed the head? If that's the case, you'll need a pushbutton switch and a continuous-duty solenoid relay.

I'd suggest the 12-M626 push button switch:

For the solenoid:

Thanks for the quick reply. Have to go back to the bilge to do some re-engineering. Yes, the head is operated by the Lectra/San control.

Al, when you get the parts, let me know and I can go over how to wire them all together with you.
