Ok.. here goes.
Today, I tried to flush the water system with the winterizing pink (antifreeze?) Long story short.. I let the tank overflow outside to wash the water tank, ran all the faucets to flush and I hear splashing in the forward head. Turns out.. my forward toilet water level came up to the top.. and over flowed with what looked like perfectly clean water (mine is salt water flush I believe)but this was clean.. and I mean clean.. not yellowish brackish salt water. THEN.. my daughter says.. ewwww.. Mommy, whats that smell? I go in the aft cabin and without being too graphic.. it was a NASTY smell like the holding tank was full to the brim with raw waste ( I emptied it last year before storage) What in the heck is going on here? Last week, I changed the Sealand filter. My mechanic says all the hoses.. ALL the hoses may need to be changed because they are so porus(s) the boat smells disgusting.. absolutely disgusting.
I need help to figure out what the connection is between the forward head backing up with fresh water and the nasty smell in the aft cabin.
