Vessel View. Worth the $$$$?

Engines are 2007 Merc 6.2 Horizons. Not DTS. Looking primarily to maximize fuel economy and don't know if this is the way to go. Maretron will do the same thing but will be more expensive.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found having the System View 500 dual displays one for each engine to be very helpful in my Mainship with the 8.1L HO's. There were no Vessel View displays when I did the re-fit.
But I used them more as a Glass Dash, however the did accurately display fuel consumption. If you decide to use them make sure you hook one up to your GPS backbone.
I had one display as a master the other was a slave they shared data, only the harnesses were needed to install the system.
I had mine display both engines data on each but they both monitored different data that was chosen by the initial set up menus.
