Last fall the previous owner pulled the engine as there was gas in the crankcase and when he had tried to start it there was gas in a cylinder so wouldn't turn over.
Now, after putting the engine back in, at idle it runs smooth, give it about 1,000-2000rpm there is a vibration and then it smoothes out. It bothers me and I'm afraid of tearing it up.
Also, I've heard that this engine is the same as a 1971 Chevy II car engine! Any truth to that?
