Volvo Breather Element

So volvo makes a breather element, part # 3584145.

I see this thing in it's genuine form from $95 to $160.

I see it in it's generic form for half that.

I also see where people say the generics are crap from China.

After some searching (hope Les doesn't mind) I found this place:

Who is selling Genuine and what he claims is better than Genuine.

I don't get it, its plastic with a white paper on it!

Anyone with Volvo's use this part. Seems to go in most D motors. Same part.

I only ever used the VP filters... Keep in mind it looks like the site you're dealing with is overseas so there will likely be some freight and lead time.

Looks to be a different part than the one I am looking at.
I didn't change it last year, it says every 150 hours.
My mechanic was doing that and air filter every year, that gets costly.
