Have a shifting cable problem I think. At the begining of the season, April with the boat out the water I went to put the duo props on and put the shifter in foward or backward I forget to put thh front prop on. The prop just spun like it was still in neutral. Took the back cover off and lightly touched the shifter link rods and went into gear. Tried to adjust the shift cable but could never get the adjustment I needed. I tried to adjust the cable but it felt to tight in the shifter were I couldn'nt feel the dentent in fwd. Had a mechanic put on new cable. Seemed ok but would have to go past the fwd detent to get in gear. Took the boat out of the water again and had it adjusted. Put it in and everything seemed fine or so I thought. Went out for a ride can in to dock and the shifter was stuck in fwd could not reverse or go into neutral. I am now lost as to what happened. I thought the shift cable was preety well straight foward. I 'm looking for any advice. I am ordering the original shift cable omc and thinking of possible a shift shoe. Any opinions would be appreciated. It is a 5.0 volov duo prop dps
