1979 Volvo 140 will only make 2500 RPM in gear. Full red line in neutral. Timing advance is fine, & carb linkage has full travel. Carbs were overhauled last year by dealer, but no sea trial afterwards. Except for the fuel pump, the entire fuel system is new. The prop is the same one that has always been on the boat. It starts fine, & idles smoothly, & advances fine up to 2500 RPM. Any thought or advise would be apreciated.
