Volvo Penta SAE75/90 synthetic

2006 Volvo Penta out drives and manual says use only Volvo Penta SAE 75/90 synthetic gear lube. Price of the stuff is ridiculous. 5 quarts is about $102 on Amazon. Is there a good substitute? Local marina uses Mercruiser SAE 90 in everything.

I've been using Mobil 1 75W-90 100% synthetic since 1996. NO ISSUES, GL-5 certified about $10.00 quart. Just make sure you grab all 75W-90 and not the -140 stuff. Nice Clear liquid easy to pump in. As of the last time I saw my Volvo Penta stern drive no leaks. On the 20th season without a reseal.
