I am just buying a 2003 boat with a Volvo 5.7 DP. It has 100hrs -- It has been maintained and flushed after each use by the marina using the factory flush system. I have read you do not run the engine using this flush system. My question -- what is best -- 1----put on ear muffs and run the engine after each use (assuming you can do this on the volvo like my old Merc) or 2--- continue
to use the factory flush fitting. 3--convert to FWC (half cooling is readily available) --and still use one of the above methods --I tend to keep boats a long/long time and intend to do the same with this one ---thx Dale -- West Palm Beach
