Volvo steering cylinder leak

Looking for some info on the volvo steering cylinder leak. I have volvo 1998 5.0 twin engines with the steering cylinder behind the starboard engine. Completing my spring tune-up I noticed some oily residue underneath the steering cylinder. It was difficult to determine where the leak was coming from so I cleaned everything off and will start the engines this weekend and see if I can pin point the leak location. I think it might be the steering cylinder. Is this difficult to replace? I do all my own work but it looks a little tight back there behind the engine. Anyone done this before?
