It's with a very heavy heart that I pass this info on, but Walter's Father in Law passed away this morning.

He was a great guy. Very generous, warm, friendly and made you feel like family. I can't say enough nice things about him.

You may recall almost exactly 1 month ago, I posted that his mother in law passed away. This is like a cinderella story or a trilogy. Three people, very close in life, Aunt, Mother in Law and Father in Law. In death, they went in that order month's apart from each other. Amazing how that can happen.

Anyway, I will post arrangements when I get them.

Walter, my sincere sympathies to you, your familiy, and your extended family.

Johnny will trully be missed!

Thanks Dave and all that responded.

The death of Denise's dad has hit me harder than any other death (including my father) I have ever encountered. I have never met a more remarkable man on every venue that one can be judged than her Dad.

Her father was a rags from riches story, a man that failed in business 3 times over two decades, but would not surrender, a man that his hundreds of relatives would gather at his house on every holiday or occasion, a man that would share his wealth when rich or poor with virtual strangers or acquaintances, a man that proudly served in WW2 while his first child was born.

John Tozzi was remarkable, remarkable till the day he passed at 92 years. It was all about family, it was all about fun and enjoying every day no matter what obstacles that were thrown your way.

After three failures in business, the forth attempt was the charm, the forth time Lady Suzette or Susan, don't remember, was the gold ring. He sold this business in the mid 70s after 5 years of being in business, his cut back then was over 10 mil. He did this at the age of 55, gave two years as an employee at a huge amount of money, then retired. He enjoyed retirement with more money than he could spend for 37 years. 1 year after he retired, the company that bought his company went bust.

This morning at 12:41 am, was the saddest day of my life, my hero, my friend, is no longer with me. God touched me, by having me a part of his life.

Have you ever watched a ship go over the horizon. You see it slip out of sight, but in truth that ship is still sailing even though you can’t see it.

You see, when a ship leaves a harbor, it will soon be entering another. Here, we say goodbye; there, someone is saying hello!

I am very sorry for your loss. May John Tozzi rest peacefully.

Walter,

Sounds like an amazing man, gave all around him joy, and in return enjoyed a long wonderful life.

My deepest condolences.

Jeff
