Dave,
I had a nice 40' trawler coming at me sideways when he broke loose. I find it interesting how many people find it challenging anchoring in 4-5 feet of water.
We had a great time exploring the river in our dinghy. Amazing how far back you can go on the canals.

Mike, if we mention you people may know where our secret spot is! Though I think the secret is out. But thanks for everything. Hey, I pumped your boat out! Only a true friend will pump another friends waste tank!
Rob, you should of dinked over to us! Did you go down the grand canal, that is intense. You feel like you are in a swamp! It's not the depth, it is the holding. Bottom there is black muck. Not sand, not dirt, not rock. So it's like anchoring in black jello. I have seen many boats have issues there. Especially when using a claw or plow. Best anchor there is a danforth. I am sure your fortress worked fine if you had it out!

Place was good.
No bugs.
Entertainment on shore and in river.
It was a good save from not getting into Watch Hill.

I was sowrn to secrecy for the reason Dave stated. Was real nice meeting u guys and yes the river entertainment was just that. ( entertaining )
Everyone that broke loose , broke loose right after the wind changed. They rotated 180 degrees and the wind went from 0 - 20 real quick. Good thing it didnt happen at nite .
