Who is going to the FOWH Summer Rendezvous this weekend?

I will be there, but my kids will be at home with the 3 pit bulls, 2 shotguns, and 3 pistols! (just in case Brad's friend is reading this!!)

I can’t say, maybe I will or maybe I won’t… But if I do… I will contact rent a Cobra Inc. They come and place Cobra’s and other venomous snakes strategically around your house and my now Tooless Garage. They will have them removed by the time you get back….. I just hope they count how many they place and take back ;-) And best of all… they work out all the police reports and cleanup of the corpses.

Torn...... between Watch Hill......and the party I heard about at Brad's garage....... I heard they where going to give away tools and drill's as door prize's.......OH MAN !!!!!!!!

:)

Do they have a canoe dock for you there, Don?

See you at Brad"s garage, heard he has some new tools.

Anyone going to watch hill or davis park next weekend? How likely am i to get a slip if i arrive on Saturday?

Looks like this weekend will be a wash out, so we are gonna stay at the dock! Ugh!
I hate this weather.

Next weekend is the fourth of July weekend, chances of a slip anywhere on a Saturday are slim to None!
Are you coming from Stony Point? That is a long trip for no slip!
You can call Watch Hill day of and see if there is a slip and make a reservation.

Dave, what forecast are you looking at? From what I see tomorrow is supposed to be pretty nice with just a chance of a thunderstorm and Sunday is supposed to be beautiful.

I would think for July 4th weekend with a larger boat you'd need to be at Watch Hill by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest unless the weather is bad and keeps people away. I certainly wouldn't expect to find a slip on Saturday.

John

I would have left today for Watch Hill, but with all the renovations at my house and the big party on the 2cd, I thought it be better to stay home. If the weather was going to be real good, I would have been there. With all the rain, I bet the mosquitoes are going to be crazy this weekend.

July 24th, only used my boat twice, this stinks!!!!

Pouring out now with thunder and lightning. Wouldn't have been a nice day/night for WH.

Yeah. We just left boat. Didn't seem like a good nite to sleep on it.

Men, you are friggin depressing me. What happened to rather be boating? Yes , the weather has pretty much sucked, but come on. I'd rather be sleeping on the boat, even in the rain. Rob help me out here. Straighten these guys out. A guy on our dock just upgraded to a 340da. The look on his face tonight after he tied up his 340 for the first time was worth a million dollars. Remember your last upgrade. How good it felt. It's the weekend. Enjoy!

We still are on the boat every second we are able to be. I think I have been on it every weekend since it went in. Usually always sleep on it. Sometimes it moves, somestimes it don't. I still enjoy my boat though at times it feels more like a summer house on the water than a boat. .
We totally enjoy staying on boat, exploring new restaurants in Lindenhurst, going out for breakfast, taking walks around the marina, etc.
Face it, this has been one of those years where the weatheron the weekends has been against us
If I have to be trapped by rain, I prefer my home. But if it's just cold or windy, I will stay on boat.

Today turned out to be great. Helped a friend bring his new to him boat from Stratford CT to Lawrence.

Great ride.

I heard that Friday was a bit snoty and moist, but no real down pours. So it was still ok, no wash out. Then I heard that Saturday was near an 8 or 9. Showers never happened. And today I hear it is almost a 10 and plenty of slips. Yup that is what i am hearing. ;)

In Hemlock today.
Friday was a mess all day, not good boating, fog, rain, lightening.
Saturday started out similiar but by noon it cleared up and was awesome.
Today is a little on the cool side but real nice in the sun!

Guys D dock was filling up with boats for July 4th all weekend . It's crazy what people are doing ....
