Diesel raft up, works for me. Most of us do at this point.
Gas boats can always run an extension cord! LOL!
Fried by electric is better than dead by fumes!
I don't think I'm going to go Memorial Day weekend. Need to get there a couple days early to get a slip normally and then the weather is always still on the cool side. I'm thinking maybe the following weekend or late June, I'll see what's going on.
I think the raft up over night in Hemlock is a good idea.
We don't gotta deal with marina's.
We can use a dink to take dogs to beach, but if we get situated just right with front and rear anchors it will be real close to beach.
Stick the diesel only rule and we can run the genny's all night for power.
New update . Marina will close right after Labor Day . Channel and marina will be dredged . All the pilings will be replaced and piers redone . Hopefully larger slips and power upgrade

Right after labor day, that means it will be a short season for them.
But will be good for next year.
Why not do part of the marina a little at a time and let people use it too?
I was there in the smaller boat yesterday. I left the marina at aprox 3pm, close to low tide. The lowest reading I saw was 4.6 while on plane. I'm planing to go back this weekend, I'll try to get better information when there. D basin only had a few larger boats, and there were pleanty of empty spots available for all size boats..
