You folks gave me valuable help when I was moving a boat on the inside from Patchogue to Greenport a few years ago so I often read your forum. One question, though:
Where is Watch Hill?
To us in Southern New England, Watch Hill is on Little Narragansett Bay in Westerly RI and we all call it "Napatree." Great (although busy) place to anchor in the summer.
I know that's not the Watch Hill that I see mentioned here so often. I lived in Sayville about 40 years ago so I know something about your area but I don't remember Watch Hill.
