Watch Low Tide in Canal opening by SS3

So a 39 foot searay is coming out.
Has the salesman on it and what looks like a family of prospective buyers.

He was about 30 feet off the west canal wall.
We were on Walter's boat coming in.
All of sudden he stops dead and you see mud churning. He hit bottom! Not sure what propulsion he had. Watched as he backed up and moved over about 15 feet and continued on!

Guess that guy ain't buying that boat.

Tides have been really low.
He may of snagged something there too.

I actually hit some mud in an unusual low spot in the State Channel, just west of Tobay. Been boating there for years and never had an issue. Unusual low tides creating lots of challenges during the end of this season. But this weekend has been spectacular! So glad I didn't get up on the hard and dry yet!

We sat in the mud at watch hill most of saturday.... Huge sand bar on the bay side ... Mood tides.. UGH

I was down at the boat late yesterday afternoon, and the tide was the lowest I've seen in a long time.
I was back down there late this afternoon to go for a little ride and then came back for dinner on the boat. The tide was super low this evening too, but not quite as bad as yesterday.
The consolation was that it was a fantastic day for a late afternoon/sunset cruise. Bay was flat, no wind, and almost no boat traffic.

I went out this morning, tide was fine then. Beautiful day to be out on the bay!

My kids and wife helped me today to get the boat ready for lay up. Great day to work on the boat, all ready for the haul.All that's left is to flush the motors and anti-freeze them.

I enjoyed watching the activity on the bay today, lot's of boats out this weekend.
