Watch out Regal trucked in a 4460 with the Volvo IPS drives a diesel boat. I saw it come off the truck in my marina where it was eventually launched by the local Regal dealer. It was picked up with the slings in the wrong spot when loaded. This appears to be a Regal repo. There are 2 white fiberglass gaurds along the point where the Blue hull meets the swim platform. Both sides were extremely breached/cracked. A quick pqtch by the local dealer was to put a quick patch on each side then using an exacto knife glue white shrink wrap around the rear corners. All the bolts holding the transom in place were clearly rusted with stains running down the hull. The beautiful dark blue sides looked like someone took a wire brush to them in 2 spots on both sides of the hull, perhaps the boat was scratched in transit. The IPS shafts looked like they were 5 years old. I feel for the person that purchases this boat if the factory doesn't back it up. I already know the local dealer didn't back up another boat from that marina. Too bad I didn't have my camera. On the positive side the interior was beautiful. The swim platform had faux teak and it was stained by what looked like petroleum based products. If you see this boat at the Atlantic City boat show in the water this week make sure you purchase it based on a survey and haul out. Its hard to believe such a nice boat could be so neglected when loaded or while at the original dealer. It was my understanding the boat was a repo from a dealer by the factory.
I'm not saying Regal will not stand behind this 4460 I just want to warn any potential buyers.
