Water heater dilemma

Pascal why not install the tub heater? I have the same tub in the home I am selling the heater does warm the water as well as maintaining it.
You could install a switch for the tub heater if needed. The tub heater is inexpensive enough if you weren't satisfied you could remove it.
Many older trawlers had a tub although they weren't full size like your's.
 
Bill, yes I may install one, they re really cheap so not much too loose and the plumbing on the tub is ready for it.
