'99 7.4L MPI, overheated twice and since I have a month I am doing all top end gaskets, having the heads looked at and buying new exhaust since it is rusty and I get a little steam. Pull the starboard riser and saw water in the manifold. Pulled manifold and dumped out a little rusty water which was also in exhaust ports but the valve stems look fine.
I have not removed the head yet to look for cylinder/piston rust but what do you think I may be in for? New exhaust anyways, possible new valves on that side? Valve seats? Top end (rockers arms etc.) looked very clean, no signs of rust or water in oil. No milkshake at all.
