Ok,
I know I said I'd wait to bring this up, but my last thread on Anchors concluded with Brett's great story and every one got a laugh, so I figure I can get away with another one.
You know the story, Sea Ray, 450 EB 100 gallon water tank, I prefer to spend time on the hook,
1 wife 3 kids, anal retentive about any dirt on the boat, I figure the 100 gallons should last about an hour. Are water makers worth it? I understand they are about 5k, and make @60g/d
The Bahamas will eventually be my stomping ground as they are the closest fun spot to my inlet. Many marinas are charging .50/gallon. I have heard they are a maintenance nightmare, but this is from a guy who bought one 10 years ago. Anyone with any recent experience, if you like what you have please list the manufacturer.
