I removed my thermostates from my 90HP Johnson. It has two plastic buttons, one of them is melted guite a bit. Can anyone tell me why this happin and what caused only one to melt I know it was heat I think. I am replacing everything, just need to know if I have a problem that needs to be fixed other than replacing the thermostats.
