I have 5.7L Merc inboards and would like to add a water separating fuel filter upstream of a navman fuel sender for each engine.What I had previously didn't work (Napa Gold 3303) and the only thing I can put it to is water damage.My question is, will this be to much of a restriction in the fuel line?I have already purchased them (sierra 18-7775-1) so would naturally prefer to use rather than having to buy something else, if possible.I should mention that each engine already has a water separating fuel Filter.
