Hey everyone thanks for your help again ahead of time.
Ok... I chalk this one up to bad design perhaps or bad luck but my boat has vents on each side. One is for the fuel system and the one pictured is for the fresh water system.
There used to be a cap / vent / cover over it that if the system is overfilled or needs venting it comes out of this hole thats capped. However coming to my boat the other day I see this:
Im wondering if anyone has had this happen or can think of a way to fix it. To install a new vent how would I take this one out... Seems like its fixed pretty well.
I was thinking of just making a vent out of a similar plastic peice and gluing it or similar to the side of the boat.
Any ideas??
