Hey guys,

I'm in the market for a house on the water in south nassau and south-west suffolk. Does anyone know of a house for sale that's cheap, perhaps a handyman special? I'd like to stay in the 200,000 to 350,000 range.

A " handyman special " sold on my block last month for around $400K........they just started doing a complete gut job. It has about 60'/70' of waterfront and a decent view of the bay.

Rumor has it that its a flip......
 
You might find a garage in my neighborhood for that price!
 
There are houses in that range in freeport, lindenhurst, bellmore, etc. I'm just trying to see what else is around. It's not gonna be easy finding a house in my budget, but it's do-able, since it's a buyers market.

maybe check the foreclosure list too.

there are a few houses for sale on my block ( all waterfront ).........but in the $650K +/- range.
 
Double D... my brother was interested in seeing the foreclosure list. Where is it available?
 
You might find an old bugalow on a real small lot with no water at low tide for that price, maybe. alan
