I read this on another forum ... sure hope it's true.
The NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office's Coastal Observations Program is preparing to install wave and current capabilities at Thomas Point Lighthouse this Wednesday and Thursday.
If so that will augment the wind data that is currently posted and provide another view of conditions out there. We use the data all the time.
