My dock mate was having his badly oxid 36 Carver buffed. The hands that did it had little to no exp in buffing, they were 4 hungry guys looking for extra work.
The old girl shined up nice with BM. They applied the PP and the hull looked pretty good for a neglected old girl.
He was hell bent on putting WAX over the PP. I showed him the website for shurhold and detailed instructions and he wanted to wax it anyway. I guess he thinks you still need wax......I disagree....
I try to explain it to him that it is a 2 part system and he had no need for a wax, and why.I tried to show him the video on youtube, the one where searay used the BM and PP and the results they get, but my Iphone was acting up... He waxed it anyway...

I might be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure it tells you on the web to use wax over pro polish. Will check it out to confirm

I doubt it.

"A professional grade, fiberglass/gel coat sealant that cleans, polishes and seals in a single step, Yacht Brite's Pro Polish contains UV inhibitors and protective polymers that create a deep, durable, long-lasting shine and protect against industrial fall-out, salt air, UV rays, acid rain, etc. The premium, high-performance cosmetic-grade ingredients work harder and last longer. The highly-concentrated formula removes stains and provides longer-lasting value over other leading products."

This is akin to putting a baggie over a condom.

Not necessary at all!
