Ok Wayne, own up to it, you stole my drain plug didn't you?

We'll be wet by this afternoon. Probably head to the Bridgeview tomorrow for brunch.

Some guy from the Tax Department took it as collateral...

I always put the plug on the key chain, so I know where it is...
Where do you put yours...no idea...

I think it's the Govt's way of testing my bilge pumping capacity or somethin' stupid like that. It'd take a bureaucrat at Transport Canada to think up that plan. ;-)

I've been in the slip for three weeks now. First two weekend were cold, wind and rain. This weekend is cold, wind and sun. We're making progress.

Damn Rick...someone stole your boat...right off the trailer...I bet you the plug is in the boat....

My boat grew to a 3557...don't tell the marina...they will want more docking fees..

I thought you'd miss that 3557 thingy Wayne! ;-) Boy was it blowin' out there today. We didn't even attempt to go out. Besides the buoys aren't in yet. Last time I went out w/o the buoys it cost me a new prop. We did get a chance to polish up the ole' turd a little bit. Hung the "For Sale" sign on it too! I see you've got company on "B" dock now. Won't be long and they'll be fillin' up the slips eh?

I was out Saturday in the Pontoon boat fishing...Boy you are correct on the wind...Caught nothing but cold...
When your at the Marina today have a look at the condition of the Docks, especially the East docks...I don't think you will see many boats at the Marina this year...The docks took a BIG hit last winter...and the fellow running the Marina has no interest in repairing them if it can't be done from a computer in the office...
My buddy and I did some work on the finger where we are and it is better now...We also did the work on it last year...We also had to hook-up the water and fix the leaks in the pipes...Seems to be a self serve Marina now...To flick the switch from the office to turn the shore power on only took 3 times to ask and 1 1/2 hours...an improvement from last year...I can't even see it being their in 3 years if they don't wake up and do some work on the place...Only reason I'm there is because it is close to home...If you look at all the 2 x 2s sticking from the water, those are all pipes that were submerged about 10 inches below the water-line from old docks...My buddy and I marked them last year so nobody would hit them...
Your best to tie-up at the finger behind me...that dock isn't too bad yet...

We should ask Les for a St Lawrence River forum, or we could just hijack an old one like the "Lake Lanier Puddle Jumpers" did...
We could provide tons of info for those wishing to visit the area...You could tell boaters where all the rock shoals are...<G>...and there are tons of those...some boaters don't realize the hazards around the islands...

Just use the same forum the puddle jumpers did. Start a petition to have it renamed, one with the most votes gets it.....
While you are at it, enlist ACORN for support.[}}:-|>>]

Stopped into the Bridgeview this morning for brunch. Knocked on your hull Wayne but nobody was home. We had the river practically to ourselves. Got home shortly after noon and the winds picked up again. All in all a nice morning. Boat's running perfectly.

My buddy in the Pontoon boat told me you were there...
I must have just missed you...the Admiral and I went for Brunch at 11:30...stayed on the boat for a couple of hours and left...whats up with the wind this year?...
I haven't left the dock this year yet, but next weekend we plan a trip up the North Channel...The water level is way up right now...Hope all is OK as it is with your boat...
I just had the OD rebuilt, so I hope for a trouble free year...

We probably didn't miss you by much. We ran up to Prescott then over to Ogdensburg. The water temp on the Cdn side was 45 degs and 50 on the US side. What's up with that? After we left Ogdensburg we ran down the North Channel and into the old canal at Cardinal and then home around noonish. Winds were whipping up again and we were cold. Lets get a little better coordinated for next weekend.

A definite on the better coordination for next weekend...We are heading to Brockville for the May 24 weekend, and maybe to Rockport for a day trip, so I have to make a short trip next weekend to make sure everything is running smooth...
Will see closer to the weekend which day is better weather promising...
