Suppose to launch today.
I am thinking I should go for it.
As long as they will do it.
I just need to go from launch slip to my slip.
If I wait, there may not be any open slots since everyone is all messed up because of all the rain we have gotten.
 
I splashed on the 13th... This will be our third beautiful boating weekend in a row in Minnesota. Mid to high 70's, bright sunny blue skies and a light breeze.

Not that I want to rub it in :D:D:D[^]... I just guess people shouldn't feel sorry for us 'northern' boaters after all.
 
If the yard help will do it............go for it !!!

Next week they may get busy and delayed.........
 
I'm in!!! It stopped, launched, started when I went for my test ride, then torrential rain while doing my lines.
Got really wet, but felt good to run the boat!
 
Cool Dave,

Waves and Wheels is coming to do my boat in the middle of the week, his prices are not that bad. If he is as good as Rob says he is, it should be well worth it. I am also thinking about using him on a bi-weekly basis if the price is right and I get a good day.
 
Supposed to get nicer over the weekend, sunny and 70s Sunday!
 
I launched today hauled to wantagh park than took the boat to freeport...It rained like hell the whole trip but I am still glad to be in...let the boating season begin
 
Weather is looking good for tomorrow. I'm hoping to take a test run and see how she does.
 
The season is underway. Cut off the shrink wrap. Started her up. Took a ride from Oceanside to Debs and back. Everything ran great. Salt air puts the smile back on my face. Winters over. Even the railroad bridge opened BEFORE I hailed them on the radio. Maybe Freeport for lunch tomorrow...
 
Hey DOn .... FU... Weather sucked all weekend... For was terrible east of the robert moses.

Sat in the bay at head of watch hill waiting for a slight lift just to get lined up.... nada... With only two buoys ... I did a plan b .... and hit atlantique.... after a few hrs got tired of sitting in the mist and clouds... bailed on atlantique and went home... BRAD i saw u buddy.... U saw us first...I saw that .....

How was kismet... thinking of going next week?? any thoughts ?

sunday was not much better.... but got outto cedar for a few... ITS DONS FAULT

Rob, when I spotted your friends 34 and your boat together heading around the “Crazy Charlie” buoy , I said to my wife, I bet that’s Rob “Just 4 Play” She said how can you tell, I said a hunch :--) There are some boats out, but mostly the die-hards like us.

Glad to see your boat is fixed. Did MM do you right? I just had a bunch or work done at Babylon Marine, water pumps, risers, a full tune-up, all filters, including the head tune-up and other basic spring stuff. It’s a 03 that I got in 02; we now have 350 hours on it. But with all the work, she is like new again.

We spent the night at Kismet, actually the sun poked out a few times, the wife was happy for that. The bar was hopping at night, from what I remember, I had a blast.

I noticed that about CC, I thought it looked like a boat hit it. And I don't think that is of the rubber type.
