Weekend Plans 6/20-6/22 ?

Ok its past work hump day, so what are the plans?

For me it's a Friday Night Madi-Gras party [:-jester] at the LIYC, then for Sat and Sunday a bunch of us or at least my admiral and I are going to anchor out at one of the coves. Maybe get a couple of boats to show up Saturday night. I think most will show up Sunday.
 
We will be in Hemlock Saturday and maybe Sunday.
Got plans Saturday night, so no overnight.

Let us know which cove!
 
I'll be out with the little boat ...Saturday & Sunday mornings.... for a few hours........before I head into work !!!
 
A bunch of girls from the local strip club have agreed to spend the weekend on our boat in Bowline. Their only concern was whether we had a "pole" for them to dance on... Wonder what they meant????
 
There is a guy who docks in Haverstraw. He has a 36' Cruiser Yachts. He owns a bunch of the local strip clubs. Ask him, he had a pole, leopard couch, monkey lamps, and other exotic things in his cabin! We met him when we were there in 2005
 
Yeah.. His name is Tony and the boat is called "Stu gatz"

I am thinking Flyns tomorow night, then Saturday Hemlock Cove, Sunday geting the boat ready for vacation.

Flynns for 1 night is probably lame. How about we do dockside for dinner tommorow night, sleep on boats in marina, then head to Hemlock in the AM.

I don't see anything bad in there for Friday night and Saturday day!
 
Made it to Dockside for dinner last night.
Not bad, food is ok, but the atmosphere is pretty good.
Did make it back before any rain, but we had good storm last night, hopefully no boaters got caught.
Heading to Hemlock today.
 
I was at Flynn's Friday and Saturday night. Definitely a bad storm - I went out at about 2 to check the lines and it was really bad. Fortunately I was on the inside (just made the cut off) but the people outside got crushed.

Speaking of which: my wife is out with me while I'm checking the lines and all of a sudden she yells "Someone is in the water!" pointing to the basin. There are really large waves in there and the few boats anchored in there were getting thrown around really bad. I can't see a thing except for during the lightning, and sure enough I see a guy in the water, middle of the basin near one of the boats. So I start screaming "Are you ok! Are you ok!" and he says "Yeah - I'm fine - I love this sh*t!" It is clear the guy is off the reservation. He yells that he is trying to fend off another boat whose anchor is dragging (actually they were all dragging). I was sure he was going to die. So I tie together a few lines and a life preserver and throw it to him and (after 9-10 tries) we get his boat tied off to the dock. Turns out he was a nice guy and was a bit wasted (as we all were) and he was trying to save his 1961 boat from getting destroyed. Good MOB drill. I guess. Is it like this at Flynn's every weekend?

As an aside, the food and service were good and and the view of the sunset spectacular. Max LOA inside is 42, cost was $200 per night with a $100 meal credit. Definitely less of a family destination but we had a lot of laughs -

Vic, you did a good deed pulling that guy out, he may have thought he was ok until he goes under for good.

You ask.. Is it like this at Flynn's every weekend? A big yes !! At 51 my wife and I still love that place... From time to time that is. I guess the new 51 is the old 31, ok maybe 41.. ;)

Seen it all, great partying, fights, crazy girls / guys gone wild etc. I had people sleeping on my platform, trying to get on my boat thinking it was theirs, 30-34 Searay’s all look the same at 3 am… The best was one night right behind my boat there was this smaller go fasts with one of those back sun cushions…. at about 4:00AM, I hear over the AC this girl screaming this guys name over and over… I pop out of my cabin to my surprise these two going at it to make anyone jealous. No I did not wake the admiral.. But it did put a smile on…. [:P]

Dave, LOL… but did you do an inventory of your boat that night…

That is TOTALLY believable. Place got pretty crazy - the wife caught a glimpse of some kind of 'photo session' going on - and it was still early...
