So whats the gmae plan for the up coming holiday weekend ?

We will be leaving for Greenport LI on Saturday morning with 5 other boats. We will be staying on the Town Dock. Should be a good time. Hopefully the weather will be good.

We plan on going out Monday for the day.....

Sunday - rafting in Zachs
Monday - BBQ

No plans to overnight this weekend.

Of course he is going, not sure where he will be a peeing yet.
Either its swim platform with puppy pad or he is swimming!

On Saturday Morning, we are having our commissioning day ceremonies at the LIYC. I got to put on the whites / blue blazer and the hat and do the Rear Commodore stuff. Following that, they are having a bunch of events throughout the weekend.

BUT…. I turn 50 on Sunday Ouch !!! , and my wife and I are heading to somewhere on Fire Island. Soon as we sing the anthem around noon and blast the cannon… we are out of there!!

This past weekend, we got a treat, was to be a wash out… Went to Kismet and hardly had a spriz of rain on Saturday and Sunday was quite nice. Not a perfect weather weekend but I’ll take it. Had fun at the Inn’s bar watching the horse race at the Preakness…, even more fun watching everyone who put the big bucks down…

We will be floating around zachs on Saturday also. Most likely in the Eastern corner closest to the S entrance. Come by for a beer. Do you think Gizmo will be up for some tubing behind the dink. I promise to drive real....slow.

Waters still a little cold for Gizmo, but we will see this weekend.
Needs some heat!
Not sure where we will be location wise.
Zachs is every boat for themself, so we will see. Any place the anchor holds and someones not screaming is good for me!

Whats the best place to look for High Tide in Zachs?
Salwatertides.com shows Amityville at around 6:37 on 5/26.
So I assume going to Zachs for airshow you want to get in place before 10 AM or then you take the chance of
not getting in. Getting out, I assume, it will be high again around 7PM or so.

We are anchoring in Zach's bay by Friday late afternoon until Monday morning. Bringing lots of food and drinks. Just keeping our fingers crossed that we get a really nice memorial day weekend.
