I need a stanchion on the bow rail welded, plus a bracket in the engine room. I used a woman 8 or so years ago, she was great but I lost her number. My boat is in Lindenhurst.

Thanks

If it was the woman (Maria?) who had a shop off of Strong’s Avenue in Copiague, a block or two south of Oak, I think she moved her shop last year to Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst. It might be on the south side of the street.

here you go, south side of Montauk Hwy just west of Wellwood Ave.

Mark from LI propeller 516-664-6449
He repaired mine after a storm several years ago. He did a good job I also had him service my props and build me two additional mounts for my swim platform very happy with the work.

That’s it!

Dave,
Mark is a great guy and as honest as the day is long. I used him for my props 4 years ago. He actually told me, your props look good, I don't think you need me to do anything. I told him thanks, but this boat is new to me so just take them off and balance them, maybe a waste of money, but I need a starting point. I forgot he does welding. Called him today, on the welding end he is running a month behind because of the bad weather and a huge tower his people are building for a boat in Montauk. He actually reccomended to me Marie in Lindenhurst if I could not wait. How nice was that? I have a little ding on my port prop, he said he would look at that Friday to see if I should be concerned with that.
As mentioned, great guy!

I was very happy with the work he did for me. He came all the way to Rockland to do the job his guy took measurements and returned with mounts that fit perfectly! The Rails he did on the spot. I searched high and low and couldn't find anyone to do the work then my mechanic but me in touch with Mark.

Best of luck I read your other thread and I have to agree sounds like the damage came before the wrap I can't see how even the tightest wrap could break a weld that was in tact!
