I took Thurday and Friday off. Pulled all the canvas off the boat early Thursday morning and took the radar dome, GPS reciever, and TV antenna off the arch. Pulled into the boat yard at 07:45 and Moger Transport showed up exactly at 08:00. Boat was secured and on it's way at 10:00.
Left my house at 00:20 Friday morning and arrived at Delta Boat works at 06:30. Boat arrived at 10:00, in the water at 10:45.
Arrived Owl Harbor around 11:00. My brother in law took the day off and helped me put all the canvas back on. I would never have been able to do it without him.
Everything back on and secured. The boat looks out of place compared to all the other style boats. Ours is an express and the marina caters primarily to sailboats and more trawler style power boats. My wife wanted to go back but we'll see how it goes. I'd like to have a covered slip.
Left at 16:00 and arrived home at 22:00. Long day and 800 miles logged.
Now we will start planning the trips up to the Delta. My BIL is married to my wife's sister and they have a boat at Delta Bay. Looking forward to the weekends.

3 Birds:

Glad it worked out for you. Moger is the best in my opinion. If you interested in a covered berth you should call Willowberm. A little more money but I think it is the best location in the Delta with some great boaters berthed there.

Also, Spindrift has a fe covered berths available. This is the time of year to find a good slip for the summer!

My BIL is in Delta Bay so I'll try there and Spindrift. Thanks.

3Birds,

You may want to ask your BIL about the wind at Delta Bay. I haven't ever docked there, but I've heard that during the cooler months, the wind absolutely howls thru there and it is pretty much perpendicular to the slips making docking more difficult. I'll second the recommendation for Willow Berm too.
