25 foot pocket cruiser, probably about 6,500 lbs. Mostly inland lakes, sometimes on the great lakes (Lk Michigan). Always in good weather if we control it. Never overnight on the hook. Grassy bottom and sand bottom. Thoughts? We have been using our old anchor from an 18 foot runabout, knowing that it is undersized etc., but we would only anchor out in a swim area for a few hours and then head in. Sand bottom in shallow, minimal drag/no drag in the conditions we were out in.
Switched to inland lake with grass bottom and a low of wave action from other boats. Clearly doens't work. I appreciate your help.
