What do you call/where can I get bungee rope for c

Hope I'm describing this correctly but in the nose of our cover back to about halfway to the front window we have a "bungee cord rope thinger" in the seam of the cover that comes out to a knot through 2 grommets and I need to replace that since it's lost it's elastic ability. Basically, I just want to get a piece and then push it through just like when a neck string comes out of a sweatshirt (PITA). Anyone know what that stuff is called and where I might be able to get a 10' piece or so?

huh. given my location, we're pretty limited. 2 I usually go to don't have it. Do you know what it would be called? I thought I might do an internet search.
 
I had a need for a long piece of it some time ago.

Google "bungee cord on a spool" (no quotes). That should get you started.
