I just discovered last weekend that Cliffy my father in law and wonder of boat partners decided to splice loops into the end of all our fender lines and shortened them each to the length of the cleats along the side of the boat. Each of the lines is now short enough that I can't even tie them to the railings if I wanted to. They only work on the cleats and I really really really hate fenders tied to cleats that i want to tie the boat up with.
Question is, would it be too drastic of a response to have him castrated over this issue?
I might be over reacting a bit, but I'm pretty sure that calling him a "dork" would be more than called for. There were about 6 of them, so it must have taken awhile to go through them.
I dunno, what do you folks think about this?
