Another one to add to my extensive list of stupid questions...
After a making a major cleaning mistake (I used Simple Green full strength on my vinyl boat seats) I purchased a bottle of 303 Aerospace Protectant from a local boating store.
The 303 was easy to apply and it makes the seats shine, but it smells and acts like basic Armor All. Here are my questions:
Anyone know what the major difference is between Armor All and 303? I can get spray bottles of 303 locally for $13 (for a 16oz spray), but that seems a little high. Just wondering if the stuff is worth the extra money.
Regarding my Simple Green mistake - I washed the seats down with water, but should I do anything else to avoid any long term damage? What are the effects of using Simple Green full strength on the vinyl? I was just told it was bad... and never given a real explaination.
(Lesson learned - Always read the directions.)
