just cause its cold up north doesn't mean there is nothing to talk about... someones got to say something about these wonder vessels.
 
LOL, maybe we're all in a catatonic state waiting for the election results or something ;) ...

Actually, I'll bet people are a bit preoccupied with other issues, but certainly we should be cheering our friends up by talking about warm, summertime fun on our Carver boats, whether they be in Florida or Maine or anywhere in between :) !!!
 
I'm in a catatonic state from putting my boat into winter storage earlier this month.
 
I'm in a catatonic state from putting everyone's boats into winter storage. But soon I'll be telling you all about my plans for modifying The Dog House this winter...I have some great plans!
 
I'm too busy boating! This is the best time of the year to cruise here in the Delta!

Still busy as H getting ready for winter around here. Buffed out my 17' Larson last week and covered/stored her. Hauled the Carver last weekend. Cut the lawn for the last time yesterday. Winterized the PWCs today. Blow out the sprinklers, clear off the decks and patio, and cut back the landscaping this weekend. If I have daylight left I'll throw the 42" snowthrower on the tractor and change the oil. Don't have time to get catatonic (YET). When does summer start so I can have a cold beer and relax again?

I love to see people doing boat projects.... can't wait to see what you have planned.

I have a few things planned myself, but for this year they are pretty small projects.
 
uhhhh no winter crap here just went out today for some good fishing now that its not 120 frickin degrees lol sure miss the white X-mas as a kid growing up in MI.... nah still love FL hehe
 
I guess the major project is either: remove passenger seat and manufacture a wet bar in it's place with sink, icemaker and storage (lose one seating position), OR, make the cockpit seating more modern with U shaped aft deck seating with a lounge where companion seat was.

I would really like to see how you project works out. I have the same boat adn have been pondering what to do also. I'm just not realy creatie on my own
 
in addition to winterization (which i'll start this weekend), my fall/winter projects include: finishing the wiring on the new stereo system, repositioning the oil filters with remote mounting kits, installing neutra-salt kits on both engines, replacing the stateroom hatch with one that includes a sliding screen and shade, adding monitors for the water and waste tanks, running cables for the depth finder that i'll install in the spring, and trying to engineer a half bimini for the cockpit that allows use of the flybridge stairs. in other words, the usual scraped knuckles associated with mucking about in tight places (and i wouldn't have it any other way).
