My daughter bought a new MB CLA less then a year ago and has since moved into Manhattan and no longer needs the car. It's just sitting in my driveway. Any recommendations on best websites to list? Thanks.

This should be removed and posted in NBR.

You want to sell it yourself? That is always a pain, especially for a car of this value, where the average buyer is going to be financing. I would just sell it via http://www.webuyanycarusa.com/ , or around here we have carmax and https://www.carsense.com/sell-trade-in-your-car/ .

Won't get as much money, but avoiding the 400 deadbeats who show up before you find a real buyer is worth the difference.

Thanks both. I haven't sold a car myself in many a year but since I'm not trading in, I have no choice.

You don't really have to sell it yourself. Many of the larger used cars dealers realized a few years back they could get better deals buying late model cars form the general public, and then webuyanycar.com joined the fray. Assuming yours is a clean 2016 cla with about 15k miles, you could walk in tomorrow and get a check for $22,315.

Selling the same car yourself, you should expect to get at least 5,000 more. Up to you if it's worth 5k to sell on your own. If you do, cars.com , autotrader, eBay are all popular, Craigslist sells a lot of cars, but not sure at this price point?

Hadn't bought a used car in many years because I lease the daily drivers my wife and I use, and when my daughter is home from school she uses an old Jeep Cherokee I bought new many years ago.
My son took Drivers Ed last summer and I decided to look for a used car for him because it made no sense to put a High School kid in a new car.
Anyway, I looked on Craigslist and found it to be overloaded with car hustlers who buy crappy used cars cheap and sell them on open titles. Back in the day we used to call these guys "driveway dealers".
These same guys search Craigslist for private people selling used cars and then they try to buy those cars for dirt cheap so they can turn around and relist them.
I'd steer clear of Craigslist altogether unless you want to be annoyed by hustlers calling you with low ball offers.
A great way to sell a used car privately is with a sign in it's window listing year, mileage, price, phone number that you'll actually answer, and an indication that it's an original owner. That info will give a prospective buyer the needed info and will weed out the dreamers and hustlers a bit.
That's how I found my son's car.

If you decide to sell it yourself make firm appointments and meet at the local police parking lot.

A car like this I would take back to the dealership they will offer a good price since they can offer it as a certified used vehicle.
