Which Loctite.?

I have a setscrew in my shifter that keeps vibrating loose. I would like to put a dab of Loctite on it to keep it tight. My understanding is that there are different colours for different strength?. Which colour will hold it, but allow me to take it out if needed in the future?..

I'll use RED on larger fasteners, say 3/8" and up, since they'll stand the torque to dismantle. One of my best RED fixes was a sun visor mount. The shaft was knurled and worked loose in the bracket. Put RED on it, pushed back in with a vise, didn't work loose in another ten year owning the car.
Around a boat, can be easier to take a screw out that was set with BLUE than if nothing was used. I mean unscrew, not vibrate out. The thread locker keeps corrosion out. That's why to use Permatex on outboard gear cases, not NeverSeez. PTex keeps salt out while NS has metallic components that promote electrolysis/corrosion.

Blue will be the best choice, IMHO. I have read that Green will make the fastener almost impossible to remove.
