which sanitation hose?

Any input on how to know if a sanitation hose is good or not? I'd like to put something good in that I won't have to worry about for a long time.

Use PVC pipe for whatever runs you can. It's a hell of a lot cheaper and it won't permeate.

I could do a straight PVC pipe portion, I'm guessing it'd be like 6'-7' long, but then I'd need probably a foot of hose on the toilet side to get to the back of the toilet, and maybe a couple feet of hose on the other side to get to the tank. What would be the best way to connect the hose to the PVC?
