I'm in Vegas Thursday taking the redeye back so I can't go when I want, but I'll be there Friday (a bit bleary eyed)

Will be at the show on Sunday, can't make it on thursday, the best day to avoid the crowd, but..... still gonna make it.

I'll be there Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Stop in and say Hi. "B" tent, on the end by the water.

I will be there on Friday.

Vic, I will be stopping by to discuss some issues with my LectraSan.

I am planning to meet friends there on Thursday.

Vic, hopefully you'll not need your hip waders this year :-), but have the rain gear handy. Last forecast is chance of rain Thursday evening, Friday and into Saturday. While we need the rain, let's hope it isn't too severe!

We are babysittin for the weekend, and a 4 yr. old can only look at a few boats, so it will be Thurs. for us. Got the new boat coming in Feb. so we are going to review the latest in electronics, and maybe check out a good drivable dink. Be sure to look you up Vic.
If anyone from Raymarine is reading this///I don't have a problem walking around to 'will call' to pick up some tickets!!!

I'm gonna miss it again this year. DAMMIT. Family obligations in Atlanta.

Gonna miss the boat show this year but we will make it to the Home Show next weekend. BTW, we get the architech's plans next week!!!!

Mike,

Good to hear your plans are about ready! I assume you are now looking at a spring groundbreaking?
Sorry to hijack the thread...

Mike you may get that house before I get the boat!!!! At least Ed came thru with some tickets for tomorrow.

Good luck on the plans

Jim,
Yes, spring will be the groundbreaking. Hopefully, with the housing market as bad as it is we may be hitting the building trades and materials at a good time.

Dusty,
Yeah, Ed is good for tickets but I could never get him to cut loose with any for VIP day; but then, I wasn't buying a custom built trawler from him. Any idea on why the delay? November is a great time of year to visit S.E. China.

When I refused the 4 cyl's ( from the start ) they screwed around ordering the 6's --so-- the boat is about 80% done, and I think the motors are there now. At least I know you can install an engine or two without taking the boat apart.
They wanted to ship to Charleston SC so we would have it during winter, but they are keeping and shipping for early March into Camden NJ. Then a ride to Annapolis for outfitting. I posted a couple pics on Boat US site, cause I still don't know how here.

Took off work and went with the better-half today. I felt bad for my wife tho'...every year for as long as we can remember she stops by the same booth to buy an article of clothing from one specific vendor. Last year, upon returning home with her purchase she found that the item she bought was defective, so keeping it in it's original bag with tags (for a whole year) she returned this year so she could get an exchange or refund. When we stopped by their booth we were told they don't do refunds or exchanges because they stopped selling that item.

I know it's not about buying a boat or electronics but I think it still stinks.

We'll be there. But, unfortunately, the only day we can go is the crowded "tire kicker" day (Saturday).
We're meeting some friends there, and thinking of going to Old Stein Inn for German food in Edgewater afterward. Anyone been there? Any good?
We figure we'd avoid the mobs of people at the Annapolis restaurants.

Glenn. Been there a few times, and the beer selection is great. Pretty good German food, with also a wide selection. Go over to Burr Yachts, and drull over the Flemmings there, you are very close. There is one at the show, but heavy traffic as usual.
Have a good time. Great weather.

Didn't make it to the German place, afterall. But, we did get to meet Vic Willman. Really nice guy.
Good show overall, as usual. We met up with some friends of ours, who are drooling over the new Formula 310 SS. Nice boat. We're just lookers this year, but it's always fun to see what we might buy used a few years down the road.
