Who makes what with pods & diesels.

My friend has just sold his 35 Silverton. Now is looking for a 35 to 40 foot aft cabin with diesel and pods. What mfg's are making this boat? This would be used. Prefer Volvo then Zeus.

I don't believe anyone makes an aft cabin boat with pods. Sedans expresses are more conducive to the design constraints.

While I certainly don't claim to know everything, as a Zeus boat owner and presently in the market for what's next, I have done a great deal of reading and research over the years and believe RamSport47 is right. I have never come across an aft cabin design with pods. There are certainly plenty of choices with full-beam mid-cabins from sedans and expresses to trawlers and downeast designs, but nothing in the AC MY style.
 
+2 the pod engines are located aft where the cabin would be.
 
I guess if the boat we're big enough a cabin could be above the ER or they could use jack,shafts but all that voids the compact space advantage of ips type drives. Lazarra does,,make big boats wit ips

I have an aft cabin boat and don't see the need for ips to do anything.
 
Not an aft cabin but the Meridian 440 has an awesome layout and pods
 
Formula makes a 45 yacht that has the aft stateroom with Volvo Penta IPS.
