That the 2 happiest days of a boat owners life was the day he bought it and the day he sold it, was an ass and knew nothing about what he was speaking of. He only got it half right. I sold the boat today, and although it was time and the right thing to do, I am certainly not overjoyed. At least I still have the yellow boats to get out on. And since they cost me nothing I guess it's a decent tradeoff.

Sorry to hear your out.
You WILL be back!
Boating is like crack!
But at least you have the yellow boat to get your fix.
Hopefully I don't need you this year!!

Whoever coined that phrase probably didn't take very good care of their boat and subsequently had problem after problem. I for one take good care of my boat and rarely have problems, mostly I enjoy this boat, and it’s a god send to me! I'm 16 years into boating and still love every minute!

I think the only time that's even partially true is when you already bought the new boat, and ended up paying insurance and winter storage on 2 boats... Then if nothing else it's a big relief when it sells! That was what happened to me about this time 15 years ago.
