.....best thing for protecting our boats? Lately I have been using a polymer sealant called Vitreo and found it giving me super results on light colored cars. I used it today on my hull after cleaning the surface with Buff Magic. While shine is a given today, the bench mark for me is clarity & depth of the reflection. Colors were bright and letters were clear in the reflection on the hull. The surface was extremely smooth to the touch and will probably be better tomorrow since it has a 24 hour cure time. Has anyone else used this product?

Sounds like Zaino or Pro Polish. Both of which are polymer sealants. Let us know how it holds up and if it makes black steaks and exhaust soot any easier to wash off.
