Willowberm Marina to Old Sacramento

Well, ruby, with your boat "put away" for the winter, you will miss opportunities for some of the best days on the river! But everyone has his/her idea of what kind of boating one does. I enjoy boating in the rain if not too windy. And with a heater onboard, the cold doesn't bother me. But I do try to avoid the fog.......

Cheers!

I have Rubys old 3270. It's been a pretty good project, but really starting to look great! As he said, I reworked lots of the motors, and in addition to the carbs and tanks, added electronic ignition. Starts everytiem, and runs smooth as can be. It's got the little Volvo 4 bangers, so it just sips gas - I cruise around at about 6-7 knots and enjoy the view! I recently added 1000 watts of stereo upstairs with Sony Xplode subs, rockford-fosgate mid and treeters so it really rocks. She is a good old lady...

I have been there almost every week, and except for this last one with the rain, the weather has been so perfect - the best Indian Summer ever. The week before, a friend and I cruised over to Tower park for lunch, and I think it was the nicest trip of the year - 85 degrees and not a hint of wind! I agree - it is the best time of the year.
