Just in case u were thinking it but didnt do it . Go check on your boats. The wind is whipping pretty bad. I had to run extra lines to the dock to keep me off the poles. Good thing my neighbor is not in yet!

Holy CRAP......I just looked out the window.....my boat is GONE..........Oh wait never mind :)
 
There was white caps in the basin at the AYC today, very nasty!!!

We had white caps and 2 foot rollers in our marina last night after the marsh dissapeared with the blow in high tide and wind. Couldn't even see the floating docks because of the wind/water spray until about midnight. It was as bad as I have ever seen it in the 6 seasons I have been in my marina.

I haven't even taken the wrap off of my boatyet. Every time I plan to do it, the forecast includes a couple of nasty days so I put it off.
I wanted to get it done early this coming week because I'll be out of town most of the next week until after May 1st, but I saw the forecast calls for another 3 days of rain.
 
Seaweed up in the parking lot ! One dock ramp is Mia ! I can't even imagine the he'll that went on here last nite !

I was on the Port Jeff Ferry last night during the storm. People were getting sick all over the place! I spent most of the time in the bar at the bow and water was hitting the front windows. I would estimate the waves to be around 6ft along with sustained winds. The Orient Feryy was closed as well.
 
Just made reservations for the P/J ferry for 5/27 at 10:30am..........hope its a smooth ride then.
